Digital X-rays provide several advanced imaging options designed to save time, provide clearer dental photos, and expose patients to less radiation than traditional X-ray technology. Another benefit is there is a magnifying option where we can enlarge the areas we need to see.  Additionally, if needed, digital X-rays can be sent electronically to other dental specialists and to insurance companies.
